The owner is unlike any property manager I’ve encountered. He’s a charismatic, compassionate man of his word, and his dedication to the foundation of Sun House—sobriety—is evident in everything he does. His presence isn’t just managerial; it’s mentorship. He leads with heart, ensuring that every resident feels seen, supported, and empowered.

What sets Sun House apart is its atmosphere. It’s clean, organized, and respectful—qualities that are vital in sober living environments. Whether you’re staying for a month or a year, this home offers a safe space to regroup, rebuild confidence, and transition into becoming a productive, caring member of society.

Living at Sun house was definitely life changing for me. I have gone through a bunch of sober livings and rehabs over the past couple of years, and it wasn’t until I got to sun house that I was able to get my shit together. Now I have a good job, an apartment, and go to school. I am happily sober and it was all because of the people in Sun House.

The house manager Rudy is a caring passionate guy that spent every day trying to help me and the other housemates better ourselves, and Larry is someone who puts others first almost to a fault. I believe he found his calling helping newly sober individuals, and its no stretch to say that Larry and Rudy gave me a new lease on life.

Sobriety is not easy and having a caring and compassionate community on your side is vital to your success. Living at Sun House has been the best transition from treatment because the house is owned and operated by former addicts who understand the struggles that addicts can face on their journey in recovery.

I never felt alone in my journey and being able talk to other addicts has been the encouragement I need to see that I can do it too. This is a beautiful home and an environment where healing is possible.

They’re not in it for profit or to take advantage of vulnerable people. Too many sober living homes just warehouse clients without genuine care — Sun House is completely different. Larry and his team are compassionate, sincere, and truly understand addiction and mental health challenges.

After years of watching my son struggle, I thought I might lose him. Then we found Sun House. They provided a stable, comfortable, friendly, safe and supportive environment that helped him heal and rebuild his life.

Today, my son is sober, healthy, thriving in school, keeping up with therapy, and—most importantly—clean, sober and happy. Sun House gave him a safe place to recover and a real chance at life again. I recommend them with all my heart.

My experience at The Sun House has been phenomenal. I get a long great with everyone there. I’m so happy to be here and it has helped me take long strides toward recovery.

The house manager, Rudy, is really a great guy. He’s kind, friendly, and caring. He’s also very dedicated to helping others in their sobriety inside and outside of the house. He is slow to temper and is very on top of making sure everyone’s needs are met. Rudy has also gone above and beyond when writing letters for me for court.

The house owner is wonderful. He offers affordable rent free coffee and supplies. The weekly house meeting is a nice time to reflect on our journey. I am a repeating customer since I went home for the summer. I came back because I’ve had an overall great experience.

I'm honestly truly grateful to Sun House from where I'm at in college because the owner Larry saw me where I was at and generously provided the resources to reach my natural ideal. If it weren't for them, I wouldn't have been able to graduate from structured treatment and take care of myself.
