Leading and Living by Example

Many individuals leaving organized rehabilitation programs do not have a home to return to or the financial means to afford individual housing conducive to recovery. Transitional housing like Sun House Sober Living offers a practical bridge to independent living.

Sun House Sober Living is overseen by founder, Larry C. and Program Manager, Rudy G. Between the two of them, our guys are tapping into nearly 42 years of continuous and active recovery. Both gentlemen are active in 12 Step recovery.

What does “active” mean, you ask?

It takes work

Larry and Rudy attend meetings, have worked the 12 Steps with their sponsors and sponsor men themselves.

Recovery on the road

They continue to do service work in the rooms of recovery and through public outreach, i.e. hospitals and institutions such as schools, jails, prisons and churches.
